To the best of our knowledge, we carry the only authentic Amish dolls - that are actually made by an Amish person.
It all started not long ago when a lady came into the shop with a tattered Amish doll that she had gotten years ago for her daughter. She wanted it repaired or duplicated. Amy took the doll and discussed the idea with an Amish friend of ours. They dissasembled the doll (and found the "Made in China" tag - of course) and made a pattern from it.
And thus, our authentic Amish dolls were born.
Our dolls are all signed, numbered and dated.
